Tedashii releases a new single, ‘Stay Alive’

0

Tedashii releases a new single, “Stay Alive,” a slow-burning, steady-flowing track where Tedashii revisits some of the lowest points in his life. Following the release of the album “Dead or Alive Pt. 2,” Tedashii welcomes a new, vulnerable era of music. Anecdotes of hardship, addiction, and fear detail this single’s impact and spark important yet relatable conversation.

Listen to “STAY ALIVE “ here.

In a world where conversations about mental health and emotional well-being are more crucial than ever, “Stay Alive” serves as both a balm and a battle cry. The “Stay Alive” lyrics encapsulate the heart of the song: a call to those who feel overwhelmed, encouraging them to hold on and believe in brighter days ahead.

“One more night, running low on highs. One more try to be alright. With all you had in front, you might just get to lose. One more fight, just stay alive,” says Tedashii over the chorus of the song. He continues, “So hold on tonight, so keep holding tight. Just stay alive, just stay alive.”

Tedashii braced the tragic fires in Los Angeles to film content for the song in January and extended his stay to volunteer and help those in need. He called on God to pray for those affected, “I’ve seen so many families evacuate their homes, certain their possessions would be lost in the fires,” Tedashii comments. “In your darkest moments, know that Jesus walks beside you, lighting the path with His love and grace.”

This is Tedashii’s first single of many in 2025 after releasing the album “Dead or Alive Pt. 2” in March 2024. “Stay Alive” is, without a doubt, Tedashii’s journey through pain, healing, and renewed purpose. Drawing from deeply personal experiences, the song’s lyrics explore the struggle to find light in the darkest times.

0

Reach Records celebrates 116 Day with the release of the powerful new single “KING DAVID”, featuring Lecrae, Trip Lee, Anike, Jackie Hill Perry, and dynamic Christian-Latin artist Alexxander. The single is available now on all major streaming platforms.

Listen to “KING DAVID” here.

January 16, dubbed 116 Day, has become a longstanding tradition for Reach Records and fans of The 116 Movement. Founded in the early 2000s by Lecrae and Ben Washer, The 116 Movement began as a bold declaration of living unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, inspired by Romans 1:16:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…

What started as a lifestyle statement evolved into a groundbreaking musical expression, leading to the creation of Reach Records in 2004. Over two decades later, Reach Records has become a global force in faith-based music, with Grammy Awards, platinum records, Unashamed Tours, and an unwavering mission: to change the way people see the world through faith, music, and culture.

On “KING DAVID,” hard-hitting 808s set the stage for introspective verses reflecting on God’s power to conquer life’s greatest challenges. Grammy Award-winning producer and Reach Records A&R Ace Harris shared the vision behind the single:

As we enter a new year, it’s vital to remember that the giants in our lives may seem massive to us, but they’re small in comparison to God. He’s the only Giant worth fearing.

Each artist brought their unique perspective and style to “KING DAVID,” creating an anthem that inspires listeners to trust in God’s strength.

When we started the 116 Movement, we had no idea how far God would take it. We were just a group of people unashamed of the gospel, wanting to make music that inspired others to live boldly for Christ” says Lecrae, “Over 20 years later, I’m grateful to see how this movement continues to impact lives around the world. It’s a blessing to still be here, creating, collaborating, and celebrating what God has done.

“KING DAVID” is more than just a song—it’s a call to faith and perseverance. Join Reach Records in celebrating 116 Day by streaming the single now and sharing the message of living unashamed for Christ.
