Pastor Jerome Bell installation ceremony at Grace Memorial Baptist Church set for this weekend

As a child, Pastor Jerome Bell rode his bikes down Minnesota Avenue. He also used to play kickball in those streets. In a full-circle moment, gospel music industry insider Pastor Bell will officially take the helm of Grace Memorial Baptist Church in an installation ceremony on Saturday, December 2 at 11 a.m.

Bell is well known within the gospel community, but he has also never strayed far away from his passion for the gospel. In fact, it was gospel legend Richard Smallwood who told him he believed that was Bell’s calling. Over time he embraced that calling and pastored Maryland Christian Center for several years. He also held super Sundays called the Fellowship DMV at various locations. At The Fellowship, Bell would bring together various singers, and he would deliver a passionate message of the gospel. His footprint stretches far and wide.

He has traveled internationally, preaching the good news and lifting others up. Although he can count being road manager for Smallwood, Tramaine Hawkins, and other greats among his accolades, for this gospel music industry insider, his gift for preaching stands tall.

As providentially ordained, the gospel message has made room for Pastor Jerome Bell. This Saturday, everyone will get to celebrate with him and give him well wishes on his new journey. According to Pastor Bell, “It’s amazing being in this place with this church.”

Grace Memorial Baptist Church is located at 2407 Minnesota Ave SE, Washington, DC 20020. The installation service begins at 11 a.m.
