Soulful, Dove Award-winning songstress Lynda Randle has released her latest album, By The Riverside, out now via Gaither Music Group. 2025 NAACP Image Award-Nominated Recording Artist Tamela Mann premieres her “Deserve To Win” music video for Valentine’s Day, inviting viewers to celebrate to power of love within us all. “Deserve To Win” is rising on the Billboard Gospel chart at No. 6 and has become an anthem of encouragement.

Rooted in the African American tradition, this gathering celebrates the rich musical heritage of the past while embracing the evolving sounds that shape worship today and in the future. The conference takes place at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church,  4444 Branch Ave, Temple Hills, Maryland.

Through dynamic workshops, immersive worship sessions, and engaging discussions, attendees will explore hymns’ historical significance and contemporary application. The conference offers learning opportunities from accomplished musicians, theologians, and worship leaders who bring deep knowledge and passion for sacred music. Each session will equip participants with practical tools and fresh perspectives on integrating hymns into diverse worship settings.

Musical Tribute and Homegoing Service announced for Gospel singer Isaiah D. Thomas

The DMV will come together next week to celebrate the life of Isaiah D. Thomas, the DMV gospel singer whose music reached worldwide. The musical celebration will occur on Sunday, February 16, at Scripture Cathedral.

Artists performing include Daniel Austin, April Hall, Steve Lawrence, Sam Roberts & The Levites Assembly, Victor Johnson, Chester Burke & Company, Earl Muschette & Nu Mobb, Elements of Praise, Emcees, Gerald Scott, and Jonathan Nelson. New Trailer: Biblical Story “House of David” is Comes to Amazon Prime on February 27

Prime Video released the official trailer and key art for the upcoming biblical drama series, House of David. The trailer offers a first look at newcomer Michael Iskander as David, the eventual King of Israel, as he takes on Goliath (Martyn Ford) and fulfills his destiny as God’s Chosen, anointed by Samuel the Prophet (Stephen Lang).

House of David comes from visionary filmmakers and Wonder Project creative leaders Jon Erwin (Jesus Revolution, American Underdog) and Jon Gunn (Ordinary Angels). The series will premiere on February 27, 2025, on Prime Video with three episodes and one episode weekly thereafter in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Iskander was cast as David following a four-month international search and is fresh off his role in the Tony Award-winning musical, Kimberly Akimbo.
