For over a year, vocal dynamo Tasha Page-Lockhart has been in the recording studio laying down tracks for her first solo album since 2017’s The Beautiful Project. The first radio single “He’s on the Way” (Giftbox Music Group / Tyscot Records), released a few months ago, has now entered the Top 20 on both the Billboard and Mediabase Gospel Airplay charts. It’s No. 17 on both surveys.

At the same time, Page-Lockhart had another big surprise. The 43-year-old singer and her husband DeAngelo Loftin recently welcomed a new baby girl, Adayah Charise Loftin. She was born September 14 at 3:36 AM and weighed 7 lbs. and 3 ounces. Although there were various complications during the unexpected pregnancy (including 27 hours in labor), Page Lockhart has pulled through and posted on Instagram that “God will always keep his promises.”
