Capitol Christian Music Group & Motown Gospel Celebrate BMI Publishing Awards

Capitol CMG Publishing has once again affirmed its position as a leader in Christian and Gospel music, earning Publisher of the Year at the 2026 BMI Christian Awards and Gospel Publisher of the Year at the 2026 BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Awards. The prestigious honors recognize the publisher with the highest-performing catalog of BMI award-winning songs from the previous year and celebrate Capitol CMG Publishing’s continued impact across faith-based music.

Capitol CMG Publishing brought home BMI’s Christian Publisher of the Year for representing 19 of the 25 most-performed songs of the year including BMI’s Christian Song of the Year, “Made For More,” as well as “Altar,” “Grave Robber,” “If I Got Jesus,” “My God Can,” “Somebody Prayed,” “Take You At Your Word,” “The Truth” and “Who Else.”

Additionally, Capitol CMG won BMI’s Gospel Publisher of the Year for having the highest publisher share percentage of the top 25 songs, including BMI’s Gospel Song of the Year, “Lead Me On.”
