South African Kingdmusic Releases ‘Dzina Lau (Yahweh)’ Worship Song Feat. Brenton Brown

Award-winning South African artist, songwriter, and worship leader Kingdmusic returns with a powerful new single, “Dzina Lau (Yahweh)”, featuring Grammy-nominated worship leader Brenton Brown. The song is a heartfelt expression of reverence and surrender, centered on the sovereignty and majesty of Jesus.

Sung in both Tshivenda and English, “Dzina Lau (Yahweh)” bridges cultural and global expressions of worship. The song captures a sacred moment where words fall short, and the only response to God’s presence is surrender, inviting listeners into a posture of awe and deep recognition of who Jesus is. The King of Kings and the ruler over all.

Sharing the heart behind the song, Kingdmusic explains: “I am from a royal family in Venda. As royals, we grow up with people around us showing honor and respect using words like ‘Musanda Wanga,’ which means ‘my king,’ or ‘Mune wa shango,’ meaning ‘ruler of our land,’ along with many other moving words of praise. I began to think how much more meaningful it would be if we used the same words we use in Tshivenda to honor earthly kings, to praise the King of kings, Jesus.”

Recorded live in Johannesburg, “Dzina Lau (Yahweh)” carries the raw, authentic atmosphere of a room filled with people united in worship. The live recording captures the depth, emotion, and spiritual weight of the moment, making it more than just a song, but a worship experience.

Even before its official release, the song has begun gaining strong traction on social media, with clips from the live recording resonating widely and building anticipation among listeners worldwide.

“Dzina Lau (Yahweh)” marks the first single from Kingdmusic’s upcoming live album, further establishing his voice as a leading figure in contemporary Christian and worship music.
