Native of Springfield Ohio, Alissa R. Jones, author, speaker and founder of Survivors With Voices Foundation (SWV), who has earned several awards in her career, will be the keynote speaker during the Women Empowering Change Conference on Saturday, August 1 in Houston, Texas and at the Women’s Empowerment Summit on Saturday, August 8 in Fairborn, Ohio.

On September 25-26, Jones is scheduled to bring her Voice Your Invisible Wounds Conference to Houston, Texas featuring keynote speaker, cancer survivor and Hollywood actress Phoenix White of WE tv’s “Match Made In Heaven.”
This year’s topic at the Voice Your Invisible Wounds Conference will focus on “Removing The Mask.” Attendees will converge at the Norris Conference Center in Houston, Texas for a two-day gathering to “renew, refresh and restore.” The conference is aimed at men and women to help them find healing and balance in their personal and professional lives.
Additional speakers include Sarah Anderson – Survivor of Head & Neck Cancer, Kandice Ewing – Survivor of Mental Illness, Aleesha Barlow – Survivor of Child Abuse, Lou Gary Hughes – Leaderologist & Creator of WHY Leadership, Cherise Riley – Founder of Destiny Empowerment International, and David Massey – Management & Program Analyst at The CDC in the Division of HIV/AIDS.
