Hillsong UNITED released their highly anticipated new studio album, EMPIRES, last week to much acclaim and fan response. EMPIRES debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart, at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian albums chart and No. 2 on the Digital Albums chart. The album also remained in the Top 5 peaking at No. 2 on the iTunes overall albums during street week.
The award-winning band was honored at Gaylord Opryland Resort for its string of four consecutive No. 1 hits from the 2012 album Love Come To Life – the title track, “Redeemed,” “The Only Name (Yours Will Be)” and ”Overwhelmed.” Additionally, Word Entertainment President and CEO Rod Riley presented plaques to the band in honor of reaching RIAA gold certification for “Redeemed.”

Husband-and-wife worship duo Brad + Rebekah celebrate last week’s release of their national debut album All You’ve Donewith three new “Behind the Song” videos, giving fans a chance to learn what inspired the songs and the artists behind them. Produced by Josh Silverberg (Michael W. Smith, Bellarive, Newsboys), All You’ve Done is available in stores and online from Discovery House Music, a division of Our Daily Bread Ministries.
For KING & COUNTRY led the K-LOVE Fan Awards, receiving an unprecedented three wins, including the evening’s biggest honor of Artist of the Year. The event was hosted by FOX & Friend’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck and actor Kirk Cameron.
Sidewalk Prophets will release its third Fervent Records studio album on Aug. 28, ending a three-year wait for fans of the Dove Award winning band.
