Roderick Giles & Grace release ‘Sovereign’ EP

Roderick Giles & Grace are prepping for their sophomore release, “Sovereign”. This six-song EP, all written by Roderick Giles, is a studio recording of brand-new music with messages of thanksgiving, reaping, gratefulness, God’s sovereignty, and grace. This EP will be available for download on all digital media platforms beginning Monday, October 24, 2022.

“I knew it was time for my team and I to record again when I felt a gut nudge a few different times. I [then] began to hear several melodies non-stop at one time, (with each melody having its own idea-denoting a separate song), followed by a constant flow of lyrics to different song ideas,” said Giles in a Facebook post.

“It was like a big box full of unmarked puzzle pieces that I had to begin assembling in order to find out the reason I was receiving a download of several melodies and lyrics. What also contributed to this puzzle assembly, was reading and studying God’s word and finding scripture references to ensure that the lyrics I was writing were biblically sound. So, while assembling the pieces, I soon figured out what the puzzle was. It turned out to be “Sovereign” The EP,” Giles concluded.

The songs on Sovereign include, “Give Thanks” with special guest, Rap/Hip Hop Artist, Dayon  Greene, “The Harvest,” “Sovereign,” “Gratitude,” “Seasons Change” with featuring Capria McClearn and ending with “God’s Grace.”
