McDonald’s® 10th annual Inspiration Celebration® Gospel Tour (ICGT) made stops in 13 cities around the nation from May 25 through October 15. The tour included many of the biggest and brightest gospel artists, including Donald Lawrence, Marvin Sapp, Karen Clark-Sheard, Pastor Charles Jenkins, Canton Jones, Jonathan McReynolds and Doug Williams. Returning once again as the tour’s host and comedienne were Lonnie Hunter and Small Fire, respectively.

The tour stressed the importance of keeping families together and giving back to the local community by raising a love offering at the stops for the Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) Chapters in each city. Due to the generous donations from concert attendees, this year’s tour raised nearly $160,000 for RMHC, a 33% increase from last year’s tour.
National Fundraiser for RMHC
In addition to the tour raising money for the Charity, McDonald’s launched a National Fundraiser for RMHC that runs from now through November 13. The goal is to raise $5 million. To support the fundraiser, visit a participating McDonald’s restaurant and purchase a tear-off sheet for $1, $3 or $5. As a “thank you” for donating, each supporter will receive a coupon for a free small fry or hash brown, good for use through November 30 with no purchase required.
Pastor Charles Jenkins and Canton Jones are helping spread the word about the National Fundraiser for RMHC. Canton had a chance to visit a Ronald McDonald House in Chicago. Check out his visit here and here.
