Stellar Award winning and Grammy-nominated Mark Hubbard & The Voices release their new single, “For My Good” today, October 15 on iTunes.
A piano laced praise and worship anthem centered around the beloved Bible verse which proclaims “…all things work together for good to them that love God” (Romans 8: 28), the tune features a guest appearance from singer/songwriter Corey Barksdale, Jr.
A melodic narrative of faith lined with Hubbard’s renowned tenor and The Voices’ unmistakable harmonies, the song marks the outset of Chicago maestro’s latest musical voyage. A course highlighted with classics like “He’s Up There”, “Trust In Jesus”, and “No, I Won’t Turn Back”, “For My Good” shines as evidence that even 20 years into his storied career the journey has just begun.
Stellar Award winners Mark Hubbard & The Voices are one of gospel music’s most dynamic choirs. The Chicago based collective, noted for tunes “Blessin Waitin On Me,” “A Different Level,” and “He’s Up There,” have seen their music celebrated worldwide as they have shared stages with renowned artists Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Richard Smallwood, Bebe & Cece Winans and many others.
In addition to acting as the choir’s frontman, Hubbard also serves as host of the ‘Mark Hubbard Radio Show’ which can be heard online at tcmradiostation.com (Saturdays from 12p-3p CST).
