Gospel Newcomer Rob Mercer Returns To His Hometown To Celebrate His New CD

Rob Mercer holds CD releaseUp-and-coming Gospel singer Rob Mercer has been savoring the success of his debut record, The Photo Album. Containing soft, meditative worship tunes and moving Gospel tracks, the new release was recently hailed as “a solid project with good easy listening praise and adoration to God” by Tekoa Gospel Music News.

The CD’s lead single, “God Alone”, has been rising steadily up the BDS Top 100 Gospel Chart for the past 3 weeks. Now Mercer is heading back to his hometown of Jacksonville, FL, to celebrate the release of the debut.

The full concert will take place on Saturday, June 8  at 6 p.m. EST, at Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church (207 W. 6th Street) in Jacksonville. For more information on the concert, call 904.476.4551.

The free event not only features Mercer singing songs from The Photo Album, but Rob will be introducing Philip Mercer & SOP, a new Gospel ensemble featuring his nephew. In addition, Worship Leader Artie Hoyle will be ministering.

Rob Mercer is thrilled to go back home and share his God-given talents with family and friends. “I am excited to return to my hometown of Jacksonville for my first full concert in 11 years,” shares Mercer. “I am looking forward to however God chooses to bless this night of worship.”

Two days prior, on Thursday, June 6, Rob will be performing on the Trinity Broadcasting Network in Canton, OH. He will be ministering songs from the CD on the local television program, Praise The Lord.
