Gospel artists land on Wammies Finalist list

Many familiar names made the list

Wammie Weekend is back to celebrate D.C.-area musicians and artists on March 27-29, 2020.  Here’s the list of gospel artists that are finalists for Wammies DC.

  • Javon Inman

Best Gospel Song

  • Andrea René Williams – Count It As Done
  • Javon Inman – Today Is My Day
  • Jerome Allen Bell – Pass Me Not
  • Pan Lara – Let It Be/Hallelujah
  • Shelby Blondell – Mercy

For the second year in a row, the event will span more than two days, with its pre-launch party on March 27 at Capital Turnaround, its day-long conference on March 28 at Culture House, culminating in its awards show at the Lincoln Theatre and afterparty at Marvin on March 29.
