Excellence in Service Gala set to honor community leaders

The Gospel Industry Network (GIN ) Washington, DC Affiliate, Performing Arts Collaborative will host the Excellence in Service Gala on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 4 pm. The evening will celebrate some of the DMV’s  “committed to making a change” community leaders and honor Lynda Brown-Jackson, Henry Harris, and Patricia Morris.  Peachtree Foundation, Inc. will also celebrate its launch as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.

Famed broadcaster Tracy Morgan will serve as emcee. Performers for the event include Washington, D.C. Affiliate G.I.N. President, Trice Whitley, Phil Lynch, Ron Taylor, Merlon Devine.

The Gospel Industry Network (G.I.N) was established in 2019 to cultivate the mastery, appreciation and advancement of the contribution of Gospel music and the arts to the industry — from the expressive and skilled veterans of the past to the still unimagined creative breakthroughs of ensuing generations of music professionals.  The Washington, D.C, affiliate provides opportunities for artists to connect through various activities and online sessions.
