Elder Will Grandberry Aims To Impact Generation With Launch Of WGIII Ministries

It’s no secret that some are worried about the next generation. Where will the next leaders come from? Who will stand in the gap and issue the clarion call for Christ? No doubt, Elder Will Grandberry has pondered the same things. However, Elder Grandberry has decided to take his concern a step further.

On Saturday, December 14 Elder Grandberry will host “The Incubator: The Birthing Experience.”  The event will launch WGIII ministries, Christian and be held at Refreshing Spring Church Of God In Christ.  “The Incubator” will feature Tia Pittman, Sunday Best finalist Terrill Hall, Pastor David Wilford and Pastor Vivian Swinson.

PositivelyGospel.com spoke with Elder Grandberry about Saturday’s event and WGIII.

A native of Chicago, Elder Will Grandberry has seen his share of friends and loved ones incarcerated or touched by crime. However, he is keenly aware of the spiritual warfare that’s taking place:

Elder Grandberry: “I’m really cognizant of the fact about the intensity of the enemy attacking based on the magnitude of what we are carrying. I believe we’re carrying a whole lot. This generation is carrying the next move; the next revival that this nation and world has yet to see.”

That mindset is part of his motivation for launching WGIII Ministries.

Elder Grandberry: “We are a Christian events non-profit we believe in empowering inspiring and impacting this generation.

Tell me about Saturday’s event.
Elder Grandberry: “There will be prayers, topical prayers and prayer for God to birth in this generation a vision to do what it is that God has called us to do. We want to bind the spirit of fear and limitation and there will be a prayer for manifestation.”

WGIII will be launched by Elder Will Grandberry this weekendWGIII has a program called Wise Gentleman. Tell me about that.
Elder Grandberry: “We are trying to look for a co-hort of 50 young men with an emphasis on ages 13-21. I’m trying to establish a level of intimacy, a fraternal bond to create positive relationships. Everyone is welcome and I’m going to have an orientation in February that will provide the literature and the layout of the ministry to individuals who want to be a part.

Following the orientation, there will be a registration and individuals will be interviewed with their parents. We will meet every 5th Saturday. There will be a set group that we will accept. This is to provide some realistic expectations for us as well as the individual. I am developing my website so I can provide them with logons so they can document their progression. There will also be info on finding a social worker and also a psychologist for those who have issues that go beyond what we offer.”

What can attendees expect on Friday?
Elder Grandberry: “We are expecting a worship-filled atmosphere, charged and energized to really promote and the hearts of the people to really find a place in God. I really believe that once we get them to that place, we don’t have to put a label or name on a generation. They will come to a placed where god himself can show them what it is that they have been called to. ”

“The Incubator: The Birthing Experience”  takes place Saturday, December 14 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Refreshing Springs Church of God In Christ is located at 6200 Riverdale Rd, Riverdale Park, MD. For more information on Elder Grandberry and his ministry, visit www.wgiiiministries.com
