DC gospel artists brought the best praise as the DC, Maryland and Virgina (DMV) area was well represented at the COGIC AIM late night musicals. More than twenty of the areas finest artists and groups convened at the Baltimore Convention Center July 3-5.
Wednesday night kicked off with Maurette Brown Clark, Patrick Lundy and the Ministers of Music and Rob Mercer.
Thursday’s Youth Explosion included Gerald Scott & Co., Danton Whitley featuring Mosaic Sound, Charles Butler and Trinity, Sean Tillery and Changed, Darnell Moore and Company and Patrick Riddick and D’vyne Worship. Riddick and his group were contestants in last year’s Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound and were First Runner-Up.
Friday’s IMD Praise Party was filled with Ricky Dillard, Stephen Hurd, Anthony Brown & group TherAPy, Y’Anna Crawley, Earl Bynum
It was a great three nights and the DMV made us all proud!
