Chanel Haynes New Single "Repay" Impacting Gospel Radio

Chanel Haynes gears up for her solo debut with the album Trin-i-tee 5:7 According To Chanel, available now for pre-order on iTunes. The album features Chanel’s new single impacting Gospel radio now, “Repay,” penned and produced by long-time friend and Maroon5 band member PJ Morton. ‘Trin-i-tee 5:7 According To Chanel’ is available everywhere on June 17.

“Every song on this CD comes from a joyful or memorable time in my life,” explained Chanel. “Songs like ‘Masterful,’ ‘Believe,’ and ‘You,’ are all songs that are carved right out of my heart and soul. Each song only has one word as its title because I wanted to make sure that the focus is where it’s supposed to be – on the music and lyric.”

‘Trin-i-tee 5:7 According To Chanel’ includes 12 tracks penned by Chanel and Morton. It features the signature contemporary Gospel/Urban sound Trin-i-tee 5:7 fans have loved over the years, but now with a blossoming Chanel on all lead vocals as a solo artist, showcasing her unique sound and musical creativity. The CD, produced by Chanel, Darien Dorsey and PJ Morton, is released on her newly formed label, Obsidian Records and is distributed in partnership with Central South Distribution.

“I’m looking forward to this new chapter in my career, taking the wisdom and strength I’ve gathered over the years to create something I am excited to share with my fans,” said Chanel. “‘Trini-i-tee 5:7 According To Chanel’ will hopefully show who I am as an individual singing and writing the music I know and love. I hope this album will refresh fans and inspire listeners to live an abundant life for the Father.”

Chanel kicked off her album promotional tour in New York City with stops at SIRIUS Radio, BET.com, VIBE Vixen and TBN Praise the Lord. She’ll be appearing in other markets such as Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville, New Orleans and Detroit to continue her promotional tour.
