Carlos Hale Gears Up for a Three-day Entertainment Marathon During Stellar Awards Weekend

Carlos Hale, a leader in urban gospel entertainment, Urban Soul Café (USC) and Access Granted is in high gear to bring three fun-filled days of entertainment to Nashville, TN during the weekend of the Stellar Awards from Thursday, January 16-18, 2014.

Hosted by Myron Butler and Damita Haddon the first event, “Homecoming: The Black Out Edition,” at Limelight Entertainment, will kick off at 6 p.m. and honor Twinkie Clark, Aaron Lindsey, and VaShawn Mitchell.

The event will feature award-winning artists that include, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Jonathan Nelson, Tasha Cobbs, DeWayne Woods, Anthony Brown & group therAPy, Bishop Larry Trotter, Anita M. Wilson, a special appearance by Hezekiah Walker and more.

On Friday, January 17th, from 1:30 -5:30 p.m., day two promises to be a treat with “Spoken Soul” where artists will delight the audience with storytelling and poetry.

Located at The Cave (600 9th Ave South)artists including Tru Love, Marco the poet, Dre da Poet, Diallo, NishaSpeaks, LyricForte, Karness Turner, Kezia the Poet, and GF Young. Music by Sean C. Johnson, B Nor, Ethan Kent, Winston Stewart, and Minon will fill the room with lyrical acrobats, and thought-evoking declarations.

Canton Jones‘  Birthday Bash and Mix Bag Entertainment’s Coming Out party will round up day three featuring Da’ Truth, Uncle Reece, Sean Simmonds, TWyse, Thi’sl, T’Juan MAJORS, and more. The celebration begins at 7 p.m. and will be held at B.B. King’s Blues Club & Grill.
