The gospel community is mourning the loss of Al “The Bishop” Hobbs. The news came today that the Gospel announcer and Vice Chair of the Gospel Music Workshop of America has passed away. Hobbs had devoted more than 50 years to Gospel Music and made many contributions including being Chairman of the Gospel Announcers’ Guild (GAG).
