John Hope Bryant and Adrienne Lance Lucas Join HBCU Change for “KEYS TO GROWTH” Series on Feb. 16

HBCU Change addresses the struggles HBCUs have in securing funding from alumni and donors.

In celebration of Black History Month, HBCU Change, a philanthropic digital app, has announced its next installment of the “Keys to Growth” speaker series will take place online Tuesday, February 16 at 6:00PM ET with special keynotes from John Hope Bryant and Adrienne Lance Lucas. Participants can register for free at keystogrowth.hbcuchange.com.

A prominent thought-leader on financial inclusion and dignity, Hope Bryant – alongside notable business strategist and development consultant Lance Lucas – will share resourceful insights on building, growing and sustaining their financial potential.  “Keys to Growth” is a free virtual conference and is attended by HBCU students, alumni and anyone with an interest in economic empowerment.

“The time is now to ensure that our HBCUs are self-sustainable,” says HBCU Change founder Xavier Peoples. ” ‘Keys to Growth’ is our latest brand extension and demonstrates our mission to ‘be about it’ rather than ‘talk about it.’ John Hope Bryant and Adrienne Lance Lucas are perfect examples of putting action behind words when it comes to empowering communities. I look forward to the ideas and solutions that they will bring to the table on February 16.”

An investment banker by trade, Peoples founded HBCU Change to address the struggles that HBCUs have in securing funding from alumni and donors. The digital app allows users to make charitable micro donations to the HBCU of their choice through automatic debits linked to a bank account.
