Mayor Sylvester Turner of Houston, TX, honored Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, and long-time Houston resident Brian Courtney Wilson with a special commendation marking his selfless contributions during the Hurricane Harvey relief effort. Wilson was presented with a certificate of appreciation at the event which was held at the historic Julia Ideson building in downtown Houston on Thursday, December 14.
Wilson also performed at the inspirational event which included incredible leaders and volunteers who served throughout in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and represented the best of Houston.
