Zacardi Cortez Is Hitting the Road This Month and Poised to Conquer Urban AC Radio

After spending five weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Airplay chart, Zacardi Cortez is now poised to conquer Urban AC radio with the soul-stirring ballad. The song is enjoying its third week on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart and is picking up new stations each week.

Cortez just had an action packed weekend that started Thursday night where he sang during the halftime show for a CIAA Basketball Tournament in Charlotte, NC and then sang live on the nationally syndicated radio program “The Yolanda Adams Morning Show” the next morning.

Friday evening, Cortez serenaded an intimate congregation of people who gathered to see him at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Charlotte. The church had won a free concert from Cortez in a Radio One promotion last summer.

Next week, Cortez heads to Los Angeles to perform “1 on 1” on BET’s annual “Celebration of Gospel” TV program that will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson this year. It airs Sunday, April 6, 2014 @ 8 p.m. EST.

Zacardi Cortez will close out the last weekend of the month with a performance at Radio One’s fifth annual Inspiration & Music Conference. Then, this roadrunner gears up to release his new CD  Reloaded: Deluxe Edition (World Wide Music, Inc.) on April 1, 2014.
