Y’Anna Crawley has been asked to perform “Leap of Faith” with Tony Award winner Levi Kreis with Patrick Lundy & The Ministers of Music during the 67th Horatio Alger Awards held April 3-5, 2014 in Washington, D.C.
The song will also feature 3 aerialist performing on silks above the audience. The Tenors (formerly The Canadian Tenors) and Deborah Myers will also be performing at the Awards Induction Ceremony. During the course of the 2014 Awards The Voice Winner Jermaine Paul, Tony Award Recipient Lillian White, Tony Award Recipient and Shoshana Bean will also be performing.
The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc is a non-profit that recognizes outstanding individuals who’ve overcome adversity to achieve success and providse college scholarships based on need to high school seniors throughout North America. A new class of recipients will be inducted into the Horatio Alger Association during the first weekend in April.
The cornerstone event is the Awards Induction Ceremonies at DAR Constitution Hall on Friday, April 4, 2014 where these individuals will join General Colin Powell, Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey and entrepreneur Boone Pickens as Members of the Horatio Alger Association with their induction.
Joining the Inductees and their guests will be the 104 National Scholars, high school seniors from every state in the US who have each received a $22,500 college scholarship, all expense paid trip to Washington, DC, a laptop computer and lifetime support from the Horatio Alger Association and its Members in their pursuit of achievement.
The Awards Induction Ceremony will be emceed by Association Members Tom Selleck and Lou Dobbs. The event is a private gala for 1,000. It is the single largest non-political fundraiser in Washington, DC.
