It’s been four years since Y’Anna Crawley was named the Season 2 Winner of BET’s Sunday Best. Since her win, she released her debut project, “The Promise” and won the Stellar Award For Best New Artist in 2012.
She also began work with her non-profit that seeks to provide self-esteem building to single mothers; all while maintaining the sweet humble spirit that caused fans to fall in love with her and her voice back in 2009 when we she was first introduced to the world.
On the Go
On Wednesday May 15 7 p.m. Y’Anna will speak at a Health & Wellness Symposium at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center in Washington, D.C.
She will also take part in this year’s I Hear Music In the Air conference that takes place in Cincinnati, OH. On Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m. she will host the “I Hear Music Concert” that features Anita Wilson, Fred Hammond, William Murphy and more at Word of Deliverance Church. On Saturday May 18 at 10 a.m. Y’Anna will teach a Zumba Fitness class also at Word of Deliverance Church.
On Sunday May 19 at 1 p.m. Y’Anna will headline the Sunday Gospel Brunch at The Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C.
On Saturday, June 1 at 6 p.m. Y’Anna will share the stage with Troy Sneed at the
Tempest Green Cancer Benefit Concert at Salem First Missionary Baptist Church in Georgia.
Y’Anna is staying busy singing and writing in the studio as he prepares for the release of her next project. The album should have Gospel music lovers and non-Gospel music lovers alike on their feet giving God the praise. No word yet on a release date.
