At a press event yesterday March 4, Word Entertainment celebrated with seven nominations for the second annual K-LOVE Fan Awards to be held on June 1 at the historic Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Nominations include Francesca Battistelli for “Female Vocalist of the Year” for the second consecutive time and Sidewalk Prophets for their first “Group/Duo of the Year” award.
Big Daddy Weave, who took home the prestigious “Song of the Year” award last year for their No. 1 smash hit “Redeemed,” were once again recognized with the nomination for their recent No. 1 radio single “The Only Name (Yours Will Be),” the third straight No. 1 single from the band’s current album, Love Come To Life.
The Word Entertainment family leads the “Best Live Show” category with three nominations including for KING & COUNTRY, NEEDTOBREATHE and Switchfoot. It was also announced this morning that Sidewalk Prophets were nominated for the “First Christian Artist to Appear on 7UP Can.”
