Virginia State University Gospel Chorale To Compete On America's Got Talent

The Virginia State University Gospel Chorale will perform live on NBC’s America’s Got Talent on August 20. The chorale will perform at Radio City Music Hall in New York as they compete for  the show’s $1 million top prize.

Virginia State University will perform on America's Got TalentAmerica’s Got Talent features a colorful array of hopeful stars, including singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians and ventriloquists, all vying for their chance to strut and perform on stage hoping to viewer’s votes and the $1 million prize.

The 45-member Virginia State University Gospel Chorale became one of the top 60 finalists of the competition after auditioning in New York and advancing through the second round in Las Vegas.  Performers at Radio City Music Hall will advance based on viewers’ votes. Read the full story here.
