Vernon Hill ‘Great Joy Live’ concert set for Slayton House Theater

Vernon Hill continues to make his presence known with his unique brand of Christian music that celebrates Jesus.  On December 16, Nonrev Christian Music Productions will present a Christmas concert experience, “Great Joy Live” at The Slayton House Theater. The concert will feature original and traditional holiday music from the well-received Christmas album Great Joy by producer/songwriter Hill. “Great Joy Live” features artists, singer/songwriter LaVarn Gordon, saxophonist Tim Andrulonis, and vocalist Taylor Simone-Butts.

Great Joy is a festive and smooth blend of original arrangements of poulare traditional Christmas songs, as well as new original Christmas Music written by Vernon Hill and co-writer Gordon. The Christmas album echoes the message found in Luke 2:10-11 “Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (KJV). Great Joy ncourages listeners to experience the true joy of this Holiday season with the great news of the Gospel that Christ the Savior is born. Great Joy is available on all digital music stores and physical copies available through Amazon.com.

The concert begins at 7:30pm at The Slayton House Theater located 10400 Cross Fox Ln. Columbia, MD. 21044. This event also promotes toy donations drive to the charitable organization Toys For Tots for the Howard County communities. Tickets will go on sale October 21th online for $15 dollars through Eventbrite and their website.  Tickets are $20 dollars at the door; $15 dollars at the door with a toy donation.
