Tasha Cobbs Leonard brings passionate energy to Warner Theater on Revival Tour

Tasha Cobbs Leonard brought the fire to the Warner Theater on Thursday, November 15 with her Revival Tour. It was the next to the last stop on her sold-out tour that supports her recently released album, new all-live album Heart. Passion. Pursuit.: Live At Passion City Church.

The full house was treated to thumping beats by the DJ who got the audience pumped  up with all the latest hits and urged them on.  It was a nice touch to have the DJ keeping things jumping instead of the audience just waiting for the show to begin.

Anthony Brown & group therAPy kicked off the night with a mixture of their hits intermingled with a few hymns. The group is always a crowd pleaser and tonight was no exception.

After such great lead-ins the night belonged to Tasha Cobbs Leonard.  “Break Every Chain,” “I’m Getting Ready,” “For Your Glory,” “Fill Me Up,” “Gracefully Broken”  were some of the many hits she performed that kept the audience on their feet the majority of the night.

The audience was very diverse with various ages and gender, but mostly a younger demographic. in fact, the band included a 16 year-old drummer and 20-year old guitar player. The Grammy winning singer has found a way through her passionate delivery to make worship and praise music relevant and impactful  for all generations.

While the tour makes its final stop in Baltimore, it goes without saying that an extension to the Revival tour is in order so more audiences can experience  the phenomenal performance of  Tasha Cobbs Leonard, a powerful voice for gospel music.

Heart. Passion. Pursuit.: Live At Passion City Church is available everywhere.
