Radio Legend Officially Inducted Into Hall of Fame

Washington, D.C. area WHUR 96.3 FM radio legend Jacquie Gales Webb was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame of Emerson College’s student-run radio station WERS 88.9 FM where she began her career as a DJ in 1974 when she was a student at
the institution. The sixth annual ceremony took place in Boston during the school’s annual alumni weekend.

“It’s such an honor to be recognized for something you love to do. God gave me the inspiration to use communications skills to benefit His people,” says Jacquie Gales Webb. “WERS and Emerson College gave me what I needed to develop my skills.”
