NAACP Image Awards Tonight On TVOne Features Oprah Winfrey, Stevie Wonder and More

NAACP Image Awards airs on TVOne

The NAACP Image Awards will be broadcast live tonight, February 22 on the TV One channel. Anthony Anderson will host the awards show.

There will be  a performance by Stevie Wonder and  Oprah Winfrey will pay tribute to the late Nelson Mandela at Saturday night’s NAACP Image Awards in Pasadena, Calif.

This year’s gospel nominees are Donald Lawrence (“”Best For Last”), Hezekiah Walker (“Azusa: The Next Generation”), Shirley Caesar (“Good God”), Tamela Mann (“Best Days: Deluxe Edition”) and music from the motion picture soundtrack “Black Nativity.”

“12 Years a Slave,” ”Lee Daniels’ The Butler,” ”Fruitvale Station,” ”Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” and “The Best Man Holiday” are up for best motion picture.

The show will air on TVOne at 9 p.m. EST and there will be a live Red Carpet at 8 p.m. EST
