Mildred Muhammad is recognized as an influential global voice, educator and two-time author on the subject of violence against women, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and suicide. Ms. Muhammad is one of six authors chosen by the World Academy for the Future of Women to participate in the Give Voice To Women Through The Arts program. From March 20, 2018 through April 24, 2018, Mildred will educate women on how to use their voice through words at The Sias International University in China. As a result of an exclusive inquiry made by the World Academy, Mildred’s experience will include travel from China to Beijing to tell her story at the Beijing Center, Embassy of Beijing on March 30, 2018.

Mildred Muhammad is the ex-spouse of John Allen Muhammad, the D.C. sniper. Since 2012, Mildred has advanced domestic violence awareness conversations and education at corporations, police departments, military installations and communities across the globe.
