Kim Person earns two 2020 Stellar Gospel Music Award nominations

Person earns New Artist of the Year and Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year

Central City productions announced today the nominees for the 2020 Stellar Gospel Music Awards and North Carolina’s powerhouse vocalist Kim Person earned two nominations in the categories of New Artist of the Year and Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year.

Kim Person landed a #48 position on Billboard’s 2019 Year-End Top Gospel Albums List for her award-winning nationally distributed debut project The Journey, which released January of last year. The Journey peaked at #2 on the Gospel Album Sales chart and maintained a Top 25 position for 22 weeks, a Top 10 position for 5 weeks and made an appearance in the Top 25 on the all-genre Top Heatseekers Albums chart.

Kim Person was also awarded The Shirley Caesar Music Outreach Award at the 2019 Lamplighter Awards. Hosted by WNNL 103.9 The Light on November 2nd in Raleigh, NC the show was held at the Duke Energy Center For The Performing Arts in Memorial Auditorium.

Released via KLP Entreprises, LLC, a record, publishing, booking, and management company, The Journey, which is available now for streaming and download is produced by Cedric Thompson, Phillip Bryant, and Sean Keys.

The Stellar Awards will take place in Las Vegas at The Orleans Arena on Friday, March 27, 2020.
