Jonre Music Group networking soiree celebrates indie music, label success

It was a night that was all about indie artists connections when Jonre Music Group (JMG) held their annual networking event on Sunday, January 8 @ Crowne Plaza Hotel in Arlington,VA. Lyn Johnson, CEO of JMG pulled out all the stops as musicians and artists converged for a time of fun and laughter.

Henry Harris, President and CEO of Spirit Media was honored with the JMG  award for being a trailblazer for his work with indepent artists. Harris has more than 20 years’ experience assisting the independent Christian/Gospel artist in further advancing their ministries. He has also been instrumental in helping artists reach new heights in their music career.  He also heads th  which is  a coordinated training system designed to equip Christian music artists with the tools and resources necessary to become successful in the music industry.

JMG shined the spotlight on two indie artists. Jeremiah Hicks who recently released his debut album  A Worship Heart had an opportunity share about his music and ministry. Attendees also got to hear a snippet of “Selah,” one of the most powerful songs on the album.

Tanya Dallas-Lewis was also highlighted. She recently released her single and video, “Ryhthm in You.”

It was a great night and we are looking forward to all of the wonderful things that JMG has in store for 2017!
