Attendees at AIM Convention Late Night MusicalsLast week the Church of God in Christ (COGIC)  came to Baltimore, MD for their AIM Convention. The Baltimore Convention Center was on fire during the AIM Convention late night musicals.

The musicals were held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, July 3-5.

Each night the room was filled with those expecting a great time of worship and praise and they weren’t disappointed.

Here are a  few highlights from Friday night:

Friday’s “IMD Praise Party” kicked off with none other than Dr. Judith M. McAllister, the First Lady of Praise and Worship and the International Minister of Music and President of the International Music Department for the Church of God In Christ. She definitely set the atmosphere for the night!

Anthony Brown &  group TherAPy left everyone in awe with their beautiful arrangement of “Total Praise.”  It left no doubt of their exceptional vocal abilities as they tackled what many would agree is a difficult song to master. They immediately launched into their hit, “Testimony”  and had most people dancing and singing along with them on the catchy tune.

If you know anything about Ricky Dillard, you know that he brings boundless energy to any performance. He and his singers commanded the stage and he was joined by the always ready to go, Lillian Lloyd.  The performance was explosive!

The excellence of music ministry and the atmosphere that it set made the AIM Convention late night musicals one of the memorable events of the week.
