Ginger On Sax Tapped As Music Director For Youth Peace March

Ginger on Sax saxophoneInternational artist Ginger On Sax has been selected to be the Music Director for the International Million Youth Peace March. The march will be held on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC on Friday, Oct 4, 2013.

Kitra Williams is Executive Officer/Founder of the March . She is the former lead vocalist/actress for Tyler Perry’s “Diary Of A Mad Black Woman”, Oprah Winfrey’s “The Color Purple” and Bishop TD Jakes’ “Woman Thou Are Loosed”. Williams is also the Founder of the Agape Awards.

Williams and Christine Jackson, founders of the Torch of Hope, Inc., have collaborated their effects to combat gun violence, bullying and obesity, which continues to plague our communities worldwide. Unfortunately, both Kitra and Christine have been victims of gun violence. Kitra having her brother brutally murdered at age 75 and Christine having her eldest son, Phillip killed at age 18.
