DMV singers and Musicians Fellowship set to honor musicians at next event

The night will honor musicians who are serving or have served our community

On January 22, 2018, DMV Musicians and Singers Fellowship will host its first gathering of the year at All Saints Conference and Banquet Center. The fellowship is a semiannual event where Musicians, Singers and Pastors come from all over the DMV to fellowship together. Stellar Award winner, Stephen Hurd will serve as the night’s host.

Stellar Award winner Phillip Carter founded the fellowship with the first gathering taking place in January 2017. The inaugural event was attended by many of the DMV’s great musicians and artists. The second gathering in July continued to build on the initial momentum.

The night will honor musicians in the DMV who are serving or have served their community in an excellent way.  The honorees are  Rev. Willie B. Allen, Betty Green, Chester Burke, Jr., Clarence Posey, Mike Posey, Myrna Summers, Dr. Blanche Hammond, Jay Williams and Andre Jones.
