Book launch for Dr. Albert BK Appiah’s ‘Audacious Prayers’ set for Saturday

Dr. Albert BK Appiah will hold a book launch for  “Audacious Prayers: Making Bold Requests, Expecting Answers” this Saturday, June 4, at Homewood Sweets by Hilton in  Largo, MD. Gospel music industry insider Jerome A. Bell will serve as the afternoon’s host. The event is free, but attendees should register at

Audacious Prayers is Dr. Appiah’s first book and explores what can happen when an individual prays audaciously and lives with an attitude of expectancy from God.  The book also gives a glimpse into Dr. Appiah’s personal experiences with believing and trusting God.  There are also relatable stories about characters in the Bible and how God delivered them from their ordeals.

In the forward of the book, Pastor Bill Fransnelli says Dr. Appiah’s “honesty and clarity answer many questions people have about prayers being answered…”

Dr. Appiah recently sat down for an interview with CTV to discuss the book. Watch the clip here:

The book launch is another example of Dr. Appiah’s making a difference in the lives of others. Last year, Dr. Appiah and his congregation provided a well to Countryside Orphanage in Ghana. “Audacious Prayers: Making Bold Requests, Expecting Answers” is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, , and other outlets.

Homewood Suites By Hilton is located at 9103 Basil Court, Largo, MD 20774.
