Anthony Brown & group therAPy Celebrate First Dove Award Nomination

After weeks of anticipation, the 44th Annual Dove Awards nominees were finally announced. Much to the pleasant surprise of Tyscot recording artists Anthony Brown & group therAPy , they received a nod from the Gospel Music Association for the debut, self-titled project.

The much heralded album is nominated in the Contemporary Gospel / Urban Album of the Year category. This is the group’s first Dove Award Nomination.

Since the release of their project, Anthony Brown & group therAPy have been creating a stir amongst gospel music fans for their innovative sound, relevant lyrics and impeccable vocals.

Their 2012 debut (which features the smash hits “Testimony” and “Do It Again”) brought about a string of high profile performances including the Mary Mary Go Get It Tour, BET’s Celebration of Gospel, and most recently, the Essence Music Festival.
