2013 Gospel Blue MIC Achievement Awards Winners: Full List

Gospel Blue MIC Achievement Awards list of winnersThe 2013 Gospel Blue M.I.C. Achievement Awards were held Friday, July 12, 2013 at The Mount in Chesapeake, VA.

The awards ceremony was part of the fourth annual Independent Gospel Artists Alliance (IGAA) Conference founded by Stellar Award winner Philip Carter and Stellar-nominated Earl Bynum. The awards are based on merit and determined by an independent panel.

Kelvin Chappell wins two Gospel Blue MIC Achievement Awards in a rowKelvin Chappell walked away with his second Gospel Blue Mic Award in a row, winning  Best Packaging of the Year for Eunice Wright’s latest album, Worth It AllCD Porter was named Male Artist of the Year and Gavin Davis won Video of the Year for his compelling song,  “No One.”

Recording artist and former Sunday Best finalist,  Dontavies Boatwright was posthumously awarded a Special Achievement Award. Boatwright passed away last year at age 34. Javon Inman received a Special Recognition Award from Christian Jukebox Radio.
